ANKARA - The resistance of university students in METU continued throughout the night. Many students were detained during the police attack.
Middle East Technical University (METU) students continued their protests yesterday to protest the detentions and arrests in the context of investigations against Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Ekrem İmamoğlu.
Hundreds of students boycotted classed and organised various actions and activities throughout the night. The police attacked the tent set up by the students in the evening. The police also used rubber bullets and detained many students.
