Members of the Wan Peace Mothers' Assembly emphasised that Abdullah Öcalan's physical freedom must be ensured in order for the ongoing process to evolve into peace and said: "We want our language, identity and existence to be recognised."
Commenting on the decisions of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers meeting on the “right to hope” agenda, Lawyers for Freedom Association (OHD) Co-chair Serhat Çakmak stated, “Turkey should be sanctioned as it was in Azerbaijan.”

Commenting on the decision of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe to give Turkey until June 2026 regarding the "right to hope", representatives of organisations stated that the Commission, to which the Committee attributed responsibility, should take quick and effective decisions.
