Youth reacts isolation with banners
RIHA - The DEM Party Serêkanîye Youth Assembly hung banners in many parts of the district in response to the isolation imposed on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Serêkanîye (Ceylanpınar) Youth Assembly in Riha (Urfa) held a banner action protesting the 41 months of no news from PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is being held in severe isolation conditions in the İmralı Type F High Security Prison. The banners hung in different parts of the district featured Abdullah Öcalan's photo and the phrases, "Bijî Serok Apo (Long live Leader Apo). Isolation is a crime. It has been going on for 1230 days."
