BATMAN - Taner Atmaca, who allegedly attempted suicide two days after he was arrested, died in the hospital where he was being treated.

 

Taner Atmaca (25), who allegedly attempted suicide in Batman Type M Closed Prison, where he was sent to on July 29, lost his life in Batman Training and Research Hospital, where he was treated yesterday evening. Atmaca's body was released to his family after the autopsy. The body was buried in the cemetery in Girbereşk Neighborhood at night.

 

BACKGROUND

 

It is claimed that Taner Atmaca (25), who was arrested after being detained in Batman on July 27 was sent to Batman Type M Closed Prison, attempted suicide on July 29. The prison administration called Atmaca's family on July 31, two days after the incident, and informed them that he had committed suicide. Atmaca, who was taken to Batman Training and Research Hospital, was being treated in the intensive care unit. While the family went to the Batman Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and filed a criminal complaint against the prison administration, their request for the surveillence footage of the place where the incident had taken place to be given to them was not accepted.
