Detention operation in many cities

NEWS CENTER - At least 20 people were detained in house raids in Diyarbakır, Hakkari, Van and Adana.
 
Police raided many houses in the central Kayapınar and Silvan districts of Diyarbakır. Muhsin Acar and Dilan Kartal were detained during house raids in the Huzurevleri District of Kayapınar district. It was learned that Abdullah Archimedes, Abbas Nakçi and Barış Nakçi were detained in the raids carried out by breaking the doors of the houses in the Feridun and Bağlar districts of Silvan. It was reported that Abbas Nakçi was battered by the police during the house raid and detained with his bloody clothes. It was learned that the detainees were held in police headquarters in Kayapınar and Silvan.
 
THE MUSICIAN RENÇBER AGİRİ WAS DETAINED
 
It was learned that the house of musician Rênçber Agirî (Reşat İbek) from the Dicle Fırat Culture and Art Association was raided in the office district of Yenişehir. It was stated that Agirî, whose reason for his detention could not be learned, was taken to Diyarbakır Provincial Security Directorate.
 
It was also stated that B.Ç. was taken into custody during house raids in the city. It has been stated that B.Ç. is being held in Diyarbakır Police Department Juvenile Branch.
 
BISMIL
 
Police raided many houses in Bismil district. Ejder Dağ, Sabahattin Gökalp, Nahşi Bulut and Hasan Kayaalp were taken into custody during the house raids early in the morning.
 
It was learned that the detainees were taken to the Bismil Security Directorate.
 
ADANA
 
9 people were detained within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was stated that 9 people were being held in Adana Police Department. The names of some of those detained are as follows: Mahabat Buğdaycı and İbrahim Doğan.
 
HAKKARI
 
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari central district co-chair Hasan Özek was detained in the raid on his house last night. Özek was taken to the Hakkari Provincial Security Directorate, and a 24-hour lawyer restriction was imposed, with a confidentiality order placed on his file.
 
VAN
 
4 HDP Youth Council members were detained in Van. Nurullah Pekbay, Şiyar Akti, Ferhat Azan and Şerif Sarıbulak, who were on Art Street at noon, were detained by the police. It was stated that 4 HDP members, whose reason for their detention could not be learned, were taken to the Van Provincial Security Directorate.
