MERSIN - Dilşah Ercan, who was detained after Süleyman Soylu's targeting, asked family members, "Where is your daughter?"  It was learned that the police had previously put pressure on the Ercan family to go to HDP.

On September 26, a police officer lost his life and many were injured in the bombing and armed action carried out against Tece Polisevi in Deniz Mahallesi of Mersin's Mezitli district. After the attack, Dilşah Ercan's family home in Mersin, which Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu claimed to have carried out, was raided on September 27. In the raid, 22 people, including Ercan's father, mother, 3 older brothers, 3 older sisters and their spouses, were detained. 12 people, including Dilşah Ercan's family, who had been detained for days, were released after their statements to the prosecutor's office.

Family members, who learned about the allegations of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu at the police station after they were detained, were watched by security cameras at the moment of the action. After the family stated that Dilşah Ercan was not the perpetrator of the act as alleged, DNA samples were taken from the parents.

Dilşah Ercan's mother, who was released, M.E. and his brother E.E. talked about what has been through in detention.

POLICE REQUESTED THE FAMILY SIT IN FRONT OF HDP

Stating that the police come to the house every 4-5 months and askED "Do you know where Dilşah Ercan is?", Mother M.E.said: We had not heard from our daughter for 10 years. The police wanted me to join the people sitting in front of the People's Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Provincial Organisation building, claiming that their children were sent to the mountains, and police said to me that I should go to Diyarbakır and join to the mothers who sit down in front of HDP."

It has been learned that the family will file a lawsuit for pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages against their being targeted and detained.
