ANKARA - Peace academic and lawyer Cenk Yigiter was attacked with a gun in front of his house in Çankaya district of Ankara. Yigiter was taken to intensive care unit at Ibni Sina Hospital due to excessive blood loss.  

 

It is learned that the attackers came in front of Yigiter's house under the pretext of buying a guitar that he had put up for sale on the online shopping website sahibinden.com, called him outside and attacked him there.

 

Yigiter, who went to the door with his daughter, could not see the attackers, while he was waiting at the door. The attack took place at the moment when his daughter walked away to find the attackers who claimed that she could not find the way. The bullet hitting Yiğiter's thigh came out of his bladder and caused serious damage to a part of his body.

 

Afterwards, the attackers sent a threatening message to Yigiter saying, "We couldn't shop this time, but we will sing the next song together".

Yiğiter, who lost a lot of blood after the attack, was taken to intensive care unit.

 

As Mezopotamya Agency (MA), we have accessed the footage of the attack. The attack was recorded on security cameras. It is seen that the attackers are 2 young people. It is seen that attackers followed Yigiter around his house for a while and one of the attackers was constantly talking on the phone. After following Yigiter in front of his house, the attackers are seen running with guns in their hands and returning from the direction they went.
