RIHA - A lawsuit was filed against Emine Şenyaşar, who became a symbol for those who want justice with her struggle, on the allegation of "insulting the president".

A lawsuit was filed against Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered by the bodyguards and relatives of former AKP Deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız in Riha's (Urfa) Pirsûs (Suruç) district on June 14, 2018, for insulting AKP Chair and President Tayyip Erdogan. An indictment was prepared by the Urfa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Şenyaşar. Şenyaşar, after holding the Justice Watch in front of the courthouse in Riha for 846 days, took her protest to the Ministry of Justice in Ankara and continued her protest there on the 84th day.

In the indictment accepted by the Urfa Criminal Court of First Instance, AKP Chair and President Tayyip Erdogan was listed as a "victim".
