HPG: 1,145 attacks in 5 days

NEWS CENTER - Despite the "ceasefire" decision, HPG announced that one thousand one thousand 145 attacks were carried out against Zap, Xakurkê and Metina areas.

Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan announced the "Call for Peace and Democratic Society" to the public on 27 February. The PKK announced a ceasefire on 1 March. Despite the PKK's ceasefire decision, Turkey's attacks against the Federated Kurdistan Region continue. 
 
According to the HPG statement in Fırat News Agency (ANF); 1,145 air and ground attacks were carried out against Zap, Xakurkê, Garê and Metina areas in 5 days. In the statement, it was noted that 10 of the attacks were carried out with banned weapons.
