ANKARA - Defence Ministry spokesperson Zeki Aktürk said Turkey will continue its attacks despite the decision of PKK to end its activities.
Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, press and public relations adviser and spokesperson for the Defence Ministry, held a press conference at the ministry.
Aktürk stated that despite the PKK's decision to end its activities at its 12th Congress held between 5-7 May, "operations and search and scanning activities continue in order to completely zero its action and movement capacity".
Aktürk claimed "border security" as the reason for the attacks and admitted that the attacks continued.
The HPG had also stated in a recent statement that Turkey's attacks continued.
