According to BBC, at least 26 people were killed and 150 wounded when Israeli army tanks opened fire near an aid centre in Gaza. The wounded were taken to the Red Cross Hospital in Rafah.
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claimed that they had no information about the attack and stated that they started an investigation into the incident.
Maintaining its full blockade of Gaza, Israel resumed military attacks against Hamas on 18 March, ending the two-month ceasefire process mediated by the US, Qatar and Egypt. According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 54,381 people have lost their lives so far in the attacks launched by Israel.
